Extension delivery for Business Central partners
Add extension delivery to your Business Central practice. You keep the client relationship, and AppoGen adds delivery capacity.
The problem
Clients ask for things your team cannot always fit in: a stop on an order, a second approval, a reminder. Saying no leaves the need unmet. Saying yes puts pressure on your people. You want a route that keeps the client with you.
How an extension helps
An extension adds a feature to Business Central without changing the standard product, and can be added, updated and removed on its own. For your client that means the standard system stays as you set it up.
How AppoGen handles the request
The need is described in plain words.
We write the need down as a requirements document the client approves, and assess how standard Business Central handles it.
The client reviews a storyboard, comments and approves one version. Nothing is built before that.
Quote and payment. The price follows the approved design. Simple extensions usually cost USD 2,000 to 5,000, standard ones USD 5,000 to 12,000 and advanced ones USD 12,000 to 20,000 The client pays 50 % to start and 50 % before installation.
Build, test, review. Tested against the approved acceptance criteria and reviewed by a separate AI reviewer that did not write it.
Install in the client's sandbox first, and in production once they accept.
What you receive
For the client: a requirements document, a functional document, an HTML5 training manual and the installed extension. Business Dynamics Pro keeps the intellectual property; the client receives a licence to use the extension in the environments it names. Source code is a separate purchase.
The partner program
The partner program has four tiers: Referral, Reseller, Premier and Elite. Partners can earn a commission on customers they introduce and receive discounts on build and change prices at the higher tiers. Program terms apply. See the partner page.
Discounts apply to builds and change requests, not to subscriptions, support plans or source code.
A partner registers a prospect with deal registration, with exclusivity for a set number of days.
A referral partner is designed to earn a commission on a referred client's first build.
Tier names and benefits are in words only; the figures are in the Partner Program Guide, shared with applicants.
An example
Suppose a client's finance lead wants orders over a credit limit sent to an approver. The client's need is described, the client approves the design, and the extension is tested and installed in the client's sandbox first. This is an illustration, not a delivered app, and no partner has delivered one.
